“Estate Planning” is the process of appointing someone and giving that person the tools, the information and the instructions they need to efficiently deal with your affairs after you die.
Estates – Probate and Administration
The loss of a loved one is stressful enough on its own. Being a “personal representative” (i.e. an “executor” in a will or the “administrator” of an estate when there is no will) can be a very overwhelming process, fraught with risk and uncertainty.
